The Best Concerts I Saw in 2025

This year I have been so lucky to attend a variety of concerts. These range from Hip-Hop to Pop. Here is a list of my favorite concerts from this year.

Pitbull

Pitbull arrived at the O2 arena in June for his ‘Party After Dark’ tour and there wasn’t a lock of hair in sight. Everyone had dressed up as him, including us. At first, I was worried about going out in public with a drawn-on beard and bald cap, but once we stepped foot on that train, it felt so freeing. Naturally, the day was full of laughter, especially when someone asked for our ID at Wagamama, whilst looking nothing like our pictures. Once we were in he really got the party started with ‘Don’t stop the party’ and played banger after banger. These included: Fireball, Gasolina, International Love, and on the floor. Then finished with ‘Give me everything’.  We had the ‘Time of Our Lives’ dancing and singing along, so much so we have booked again for next year!

Sabrina Carpenter:

Sabrina headlined three nights at the ‘British Summer Time’ festival this July in Hyde Park. The festival hosts a wide variety of artists and then the night is finished with the headline act. Some of the other artists performing were Clairo and BeaBaDooBee. There are also many stalls around offering fun experiences whilst you are waiting. We started off having a boogie at the ‘British Airways’ silent disco and made full use of their photo booth. Afterwards, we all went to figure out what we wanted to eat, then met up for a little picnic of pizzas, mac and cheese, chicken tenders and the list goes on. We had also conveniently picnicked right next to the Ice-cream van. Once our bellies were full, we headed to the main stage to secure our spot in time for Sabrina. We danced and sang, having the time of our lives and before we knew it, we was heading off to the train station to go home.

Coldplay:

Coldplay filled the Wembly stadium in August and what a night! It was a night of multicoloured lights, streamers, and alien heads. So much singing and plenty of dancing. They got the whole stadium jumping around and enjoying themselves. It was also so cool to see all the jumping pads they have dotted around the stadium to help collect electricity to power future shows. I liked this concert so much because it was more than a performer on a stage, it was a visual experience and an emotional as well.

Katy Perry:

Katy Perry hosted the O2 in October for her ‘Lifetimes’ tour. There was running, flying, fighting, somersaults, and many more action-based moves. We luckily got to stand right at the front of the barrier so had an amazing view of the whole show. There was a lot of jumping, singing, and dancing in the audience. She had a range of songs from her new album and her older albums. She even had a QR code that the audience could scan to choose a song for her to sing. Every time you thought she had reached the max, there would be another somersault. She had the audience so engaged and I would 100% go to another one of her concerts.

JLS:

Finally the last concert we went to this year and also one of my favorites was 'The Club Is Alive' JLS tour. This was also at the O2 arena. I fortunately went twice and the first time they brought Jessie J out to sing price tag and the second time all their little ones on stage. It was so so cute. The reason I loved this concert so much was because they always have such a good mix of their own music but they also include a DJ set in the middle which keeps the crowd going all night. It really caters to all kinds of fans tastes in music.
